I want to give a thumbs up for whatever group takes care of damaged/burnt-out street lights.  I left a message at the Light Out number on a Thurs. afternoon and by the following Tues.(maybe before cause I didn't notice) a brand new light was installed on Wrangler.  The entire light had been gone for a couple months;just a pole existed.  But not anymore!

Very quick response. Great job guys/gals!!!

Keep in mind that even if you are on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there.

You got lucky... I've been calling about the same light for a few months now!

Mayor Mark

Was wondering if the floor lights that light up HR entrance will be turned on again?  They've been turned off for about 3 weeks now.  I think they make our entrance look a lot more attractive.

We have broken lights on our streets caused by the winds.  Any idea when they'll be getting to them?

If you can direct me to a phone # or person I can make the call.

Thank You.

For broken street lights, the number to call is: 357 OUTT (6888)

Check out the Who Ya Gonna Call page: http://www.fontana.org/main/mgmt_serv/who_ya_call.pdf for numbers to call for almost anything.

Before you call the number, go to the street light and there should be a metal plate with an ID # or Serial # for that light.  Edison will need that information.

hmartinez,

Thanks for the comment about the entrance lights to the community. We will check them out tomorrow and get them back on ASAP.

Every time I call, they want that number, and I keep telling them that our lamp doesn't have a ID plate on it. Of course, they haven't added one, so each time I call, it takes a good month before they find and fix it. :(

I only wish that they'd update the reflectors in those lamps so that they send more light to the street and less light in to my bedroom windows!

Tell them when you call, that the shade on your street light is misplaced. The wind blew ours out of place last year and the light in our bedroom was blinding. After six calls, six months and one email, the shade got fixed. I think the email works better than leaving a message.

Tim,

What is the e-mail address that you used to contact Edison about their street lights. I would like to give that a try also.

Thanks

dwest,

It was the City of Fontana I contacted about the light not being in compliance with code. The email address I linked to was in the City website. They in turn will notify SCE. Good Luck!

Downed Street Light post: Mustang and Buckskin. I noticed this morning that the entire light post was knocked down due to the winds. I understand that the lights are owned/maintained by Edison. I don't have the plate number however. Please advise.

It's really nice, huh?  They are usually there pretty fast to fix it.  :)
