What does one expect of a resident that is thinking of running for council  ?  I am am just thinking about the last election . I viewed the  comments on Fontana Herald which had a short video clips of each incumbent   except for Rafael Garcia which presented himself at the council meeting  prior to the vote . My personal thoughts  were Janice  Rutherford  presented herself well , reflecting on the changes that made us proud to live in Fontana . She spoke of partnering  with the schools to keep the kids off the street  ,improving traffic  and a safer community . Aquanetta  did much of the same as I recall but leaned more toward building unity in the community and  education opportunities for the children and more parks. Puther concern  was about the water rates  and belief that Fontana could be better . I forgot the Reverend name  but he expressed that he believed traffic could be better ,  as well as many of the other issues spoken by the incumbents . I also forgot the name of the Person that was on the board of utilities ,but he presented himself well and with confidence that he could improve on what has already become a great city .  Rafael  Garcia spoke on code enforcement issues . The noise from ice cream trucks ,cart vendor as well as developing the  corridor along Valley  . Looking in to solar power  and the landscaping issues with the landscape crossing over Sierra from South ridge.  My thoughts were that Janice, and Aquanetta   got most of my confidence . Not  solely because what has changed in Fontana but they directed their goals and spoke  some  of how the would achieve them . Rafael  did well in his comments but would liked to hear some approaches  to his goals . Puther ,the reverend and the  Incumbent that  was on the board  of utilities  needed to express  their concept of how to come about  their goals .  I thanks to all of them for come fourth to lead our community . But what I need to see  is  their opinions and  concepts for our community . We see Janice and Aquannetta's  views by their votes but where are the  others ? Is their not public communication  ? I would like to see more concepts  brought fourth to provide solutions .  Job growth ,  Parkways and other maintenance issues , continuing to build our unity  , greater encouragement  in neighborhood watch these are some that could be brought fourth in this forum . Anther way is to bring fourth questions to Mr. Hunt's Blog Fontana 360 .No Debate allowed . Go to various community meetings and bring fourth a approach for residents to solve their differences.                                                                                                                                                    r

Lydia Wibert Salazar, Michael Meyers, Michael Tahan, Carlos Bravo, Tami Wetzel, and Hope Durbin and John Roberts will be looking for a council seat this election . Bobbi Jo Chavarria and Melissa Brown And Acquanetta Warren  are running for the  Mayor's seat . Keep you eyes  and ears open to see if you support their views . I have looked up some of the names on google and  added Fontana city council to it to come up with the minutes they have spoken and then reviewed some of the views on public communication videos section . The city has many opportunities to help out . I would like to hear what they have been doing so far .  Dedication  with no compensation shows great commitment .
